Read beat by beat

126,000+ competitor ads on Google, Meta and LinkedIn, each read one by one.

Each competitor film, split into its beats.

In their own language, English beside it.

Example, names withheld: chapter 3 of a Market Report, What their ads say. Competitor films from a hospital-chain market, 0:43, 0:28 and 0:27 long, with Competitor K’s split into its beats: Hook, Product reveal, Demonstration and Ask. Competitor K’s hook is written down in Telugu as it is spoken, with the English beside it: Is it difficult to stand in the hospital queue for a doctor appointment? Muffin Intel has read 1,221 competitor films beat by beat, across 75 brands.
How we count

Muffin Intel searches the way your customers do. Each competitor is tied to its own website and the ad accounts we can verify, then counted on Google, Meta and LinkedIn in one table with your own ads. One brand, one row: an agency’s ads for its other clients stay out of a competitor’s count. The table counts the ads Muffin Intel holds. Any figure that is not a verified count is labelled Estimated, Inferred, Not checked or Not available. 1,201 competitor brands counted, across the markets of 100+ businesses we have read.

Beat names are Muffin Intel’s read. Each strip is one film at its own length, split by what fills the frame. Lines in the film demos are transcribed by Muffin Intel.

Code counts what 3 or more competitors share across four lenses, then sets your own ads against it. Opinions are never counted.

For each competitor, Muffin Intel reads the latest posts on its Instagram grid, its reels, recent posts it is tagged in, two brand hashtags and its name in search. Each post that names a competitor is graded on eight steps: Instagram names the payer; Instagram’s paid-partnership label; co-authored; a written disclosure; a discount code or tracked link; a tag; a mention; a hashtag. Only the first, second and fourth are called paid. A co-authored post or a code shows as worked with. Tags, mentions and hashtags are associations, never deals. A post can be old, so a step shows that the two worked together then, not that they still do. Instagram only. Stories are not read. Fees, reach and sales from creator posts are never estimated. Your own Instagram, counted the same way, when we have your handle.
